Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply for tickets?

You can apply in two easy ways:

  • Fill out the form attached to this newsletter.
  • Pick up a paper form at our club premises.

How do I hand in my form?

You can submit your completed form in two ways:

  • Email it to musgb1@gmail.com.
  • Drop it into the letterbox at the branch entrance (not later than a week before the deadline).

When should I send my request?

  • Best time: Send it during the open dates.
  • Early requests: We will hold them until the date opens.
  • Late requests: Unfortunately, we are unable to accept/process them. You would have to request them from the official Manchester United website

Can I cancel my request?

  • Yes: You can cancel before the deadline date (email – musgb1@gmail.com).
  • No: You cannot cancel after the deadline date. The branch may have already paid for your ticket.

Am I guaranteed a ticket?

  • No: A request does not mean you get a ticket.
  • Warning: Do not book travel or hotels yet. Wait until the Secretary confirms your ticket by email.

How does the club get tickets?

The number of tickets allocated to us by MU will depend on the total number of members registered at the time & the general demand from all MUSC’s applications. Early renewals help us receive a higher percentage of the tickets available. If you have not yet renewed your membership, please do so as soon as possible. Members no longer need to submit a renewal form. Once payment is received, your membership will be updated.

Payment Details:

Online payments to be made to the following account, using your Full Name as the reference:

  • Account Name: Man United Supporter
  • Account No: 48120278
  • Sort Code: 60-60-60

What if we do not get enough tickets?

When a match is in high demand and we have more requests than tickets (oversubscription), we use a fair priority system to decide who gets them. You can read the details in our attached “Match Ticket Allocation Rules.”

If you missed out on a ticket, we could try again straight after. MU lets us apply a second time for extra leftover tickets from any MUSC’s unconfirmed reservations. Please remember that if you re-apply for tickets this way, you might not sit together. Your seats could be separate and in different sections.

What if we need a lucky draw?

In the case that a draw is required, the Committee will hold a lottery draw for those tickets. For every 5 match days a member attended the club the previous season, an extra ticket will be obtained. The attendance is recorded via the official sign-in sheet placed at the entrance on every match day.

How do I get my ticket?

Open the official Manchester United App.

  • Tap the “My United” icon on the bottom right.
  • Scroll down and tap “My Tickets”.
  • Wait for your QR code. It appears 3 hours before the game.
  • Watch this video help guide if you get stuck: How to find your tickets.

Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?

  • Yes: Use the “sell” option inside the official app.
  • Fee: MU will charge you a £5 cancellation fee.
  • Payout: MU will transfer your money once the ticket is sold.
  • Watch this video help guide to learn how: How to resell your ticket.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your continued support!

Kind Regards,

NEWSLETTER No.3 of 2026/2027

Dear Member,

While we hope you enjoy the summer break, the committee will be working hard behind the scenes to ensure everything is ready for the beginning of the new season.

33rd Annual General Meeting.

On Tuesday 2nd June, we held our AGM. Out of 241 voting members, 36 attended (including committee and catering staff). The meeting was highly productive, Mr. Tyrone Davis was elected to fill our vacant post. Additionally, the Financial Statement, Members’ Motion and Budget presented by the committee were all approved and passed unanimously.

The committee emphasizes the importance of attending these AGMs, as all decisions are made in the best interest of the club and its members. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to attend.

The Trip Raffle.

The draw for our trip raffle took place at the AGM. This prize covers up to £750 in expenses for tickets, flights and accommodation for a trip to Old Trafford. All members who renewed or joined for the new season prior to the meeting were eligible.

Congratulations to this year’s winner, Mr. Sebastian Cohen. Two additional backup names were also drawn.

AGM Surprise Shirt Raffle.

To thank members for their attendance, the committee raffled a Manchester United shirt during the meeting. Congratulations to the winner, Mr. Jason Segovia.

New Season Fixtures.

The Premier League will release the fixtures for the new season on Friday 19th June. The new season is scheduled to officially kick off around the weekend of Friday 15th August.

MUSC Ticket Allocation Deadlines.

We expect to receive our MUSC ticket allocation deadlines about a week after the fixtures are released. We will post these at the club and send them via email immediately. Please note that deadlines for the first few home matches often fall just a few days after Manchester United provides us with the information.

Please find this season’s match ticket request form attached.

Membership Renewals.

If you have not yet renewed your membership, please do so as soon as possible. The total number of tickets allocated to our branch directly depends on our official registered member count at the time of our request.

Members no longer need to submit a renewal form. Once payment is received, your membership will be automatically updated.

Payment Details:

Online payments to be made to the following account, using your Full Name as the reference:

  • Account Name: Man United Supporter
  • Account No: 48120278
  • Sort Code: 60-60-60

Furthermore, members who renew before 15th July will receive priority tier 1 ticket application status over those who join later, in case of ticket requests oversubscription.

Frequently Asked Questions & Answers?

How does the ticket request process work?

When we receive a ticket request for a match, we can only apply for it during the MUSC Ticket Allocation Deadlines. Any requests sent before the application date will be placed on hold until it opens. Requests received after the deadline will not be considered, as we will be unable to request them via the MUSC ticketing system. Anyone wishing to apply for tickets after the deadline must do so through the Official Manchester United Website.

So when should I request tickets?

Preferably – during the “open & close application” dates.

We Do Not Mind – requests sent before the “open application” date will be placed on hold until it opens.

Definitely Not – After the “close application” date.

How do I apply?

Requests for tickets can be made either by:

Once completed, forms should be submitted by:

Can I cancel a request?

Yes, requests can be cancelled before the closed deadline date of the selected match. Any cancellation request sent after will not be honored, as tickets may have already been purchased by the branch.

Does a request guarantee me a ticket?

A request does not guarantee you a ticket. We advise members not to make any travel and/or accommodation arrangements until you have the ticket confirmation from the Secretary.

Will we get all the tickets requested?

The number of tickets reserved for us by MU will depend on the total number of members registered at the time & the general demand from all MUSC’s applications. About a week after the application date closes, we should receive an email from MU with our ticket allocation breakdown. This is why it is important for members to renew early, as we will receive a percentage of the tickets available. Below is an example of a previous ticket breakdown –

What happens if we are allocated less tickets than what was requested?

In the event of oversubscription for any match, tickets will be allocated using the following criteria:

Priority will be as follows:

  1. Members who were registered paid-up members the previous year and renewed their membership prior to 15th July of the current membership year.
  2. Members who were not members the previous year but became members prior to the 15th of July of the current membership year.
  3. Members who were members the previous years but renewed their membership after the 15th of July of the current membership year.
  4. Members who were not members the previous year and became members after the 15th July.

Except for –

  1. The trip raffle winner and any travelling companions.
  2. The Fantasy Football winner and any travelling companions.
  3. Any other tickets the Committee may have offered as a prize during the previous season to an existing member.

If the Committee deems a draw is necessary for any tickets, members participating in the draw will be allocated an additional raffle ticket for every 5 signed in attendances at the club premises, for official games televised of the previous season.

When & where can I access my tickets?

Tickets can be accessed on the official Manchester United App. Tap the “My United” icon in the bottom right corner of your device, which will open your profile page. Scroll down and you will see a button labelled “My Tickets”. Tap the button to view your upcoming tickets. Your QR code will load 3 hours before kick-off. Here’s an explanatory link – https://www.manutd.com/en/videos/detail/where-to-find-your-tickets-in-the-app

NEWSLETTER No.1 of 2025/2026

Dear Member

While we hope you enjoy the summer break, the committee will be working hard behind the scenes to ensure everything is ready for the beginning of the new season.

32nd Annual General Meeting.

On Tuesday 3rd June 2025, we held our AGM. Even though there was only just over 10% of the membership present, the meeting was a very productive one, as the members’ motion and the proposed purchases presented by the committee were passed unanimously. The committee would like to express the importance of attending these AGM’s as everything we do is for the interest of the club and its members. Saying this, the committee would like to thank those who took their time and interest in attending.

The Trip Raffle.

The trip raffle worth up to £750 of expenses covered by the club for tickets, flights & hotel for a trip to Old Trafford, took place at the AGM. Those that renewed and became members for the new season up to the day, were eligible for the draw. We would like to congratulate Mr. Julian Navarro on being this year’s winner. Two further names were drawn as backups.

AGM Surprise Shirt Raffle.

On the day, the Committee raffled a 25-26 United Shirt between the attendees, in gratitude for their attendance. Congratulations to Mr. Salvador Duarte for being the winner.

2025/2026 Fixtures.

The fixtures for the new season will be released by the Premier League on Wednesday 18th June at 10am, a week from today and the new season will officially commence around the weekend of Saturday 16th August.

MUSC Ticket Allocation Deadlines 25-26.

We will be hoping to receive this season’s MUSC ticket allocation deadlines, at least a week after the release of the fixtures, which we will be posting at the club and sending by email as soon as we receive them. Please keep in mind that (as per previous seasons), the deadlines for the first couple of home matches could be just a few days after the information is sent to us by MU.

Membership Renewals.

Those of you who have not yet renewed your membership, we would appreciate you do so as soon as possible, as the total number of tickets allocated to our branch will depend on the number of members registered with MU at the time of requesting them. Also, members who renew before the 15th of July will have priority when applying for match tickets over those who join after.

WhatsApp Group.

For those of you who wish to join our WhatsApp group (Manchester United Supporters Gibraltar Branch), contact any committee member for the link. There you will only receive information about the Branch and MUFC if required.
