Frequently Asked Questions & Answers?

How does the ticket request process work?

When we receive a ticket request for a match, we can only apply for it during the MUSC Ticket Allocation Deadlines. Any requests sent before the application date will be placed on hold until it opens. Requests received after the deadline will not be considered, as we will be unable to request them via the MUSC ticketing system. Anyone wishing to apply for tickets after the deadline must do so through the Official Manchester United Website.

So when should I request tickets?

Preferably – during the “open & close application” dates.

We Do Not Mind – requests sent before the “open application” date will be placed on hold until it opens.

Definitely Not – After the “close application” date.

How do I apply?

Requests for tickets can be made either by:

Once completed, forms should be submitted by:

Can I cancel a request?

Yes, requests can be cancelled before the closed deadline date of the selected match. Any cancellation request sent after will not be honored, as tickets may have already been purchased by the branch.

Does a request guarantee me a ticket?

A request does not guarantee you a ticket. We advise members not to make any travel and/or accommodation arrangements until you have the ticket confirmation from the Secretary.

Will we get all the tickets requested?

The number of tickets reserved for us by MU will depend on the total number of members registered at the time & the general demand from all MUSC’s applications. About a week after the application date closes, we should receive an email from MU with our ticket allocation breakdown. This is why it is important for members to renew early, as we will receive a percentage of the tickets available. Below is an example of a previous ticket breakdown –

What happens if we are allocated less tickets than what was requested?

In the event of oversubscription for any match, tickets will be allocated using the following criteria:

Priority will be as follows:

  1. Members who were registered paid-up members the previous year and renewed their membership prior to 15th July of the current membership year.
  2. Members who were not members the previous year but became members prior to the 15th of July of the current membership year.
  3. Members who were members the previous years but renewed their membership after the 15th of July of the current membership year.
  4. Members who were not members the previous year and became members after the 15th July.

Except for –

  1. The trip raffle winner and any travelling companions.
  2. The Fantasy Football winner and any travelling companions.
  3. Any other tickets the Committee may have offered as a prize during the previous season to an existing member.

If the Committee deems a draw is necessary for any tickets, members participating in the draw will be allocated an additional raffle ticket for every 5 signed in attendances at the club premises, for official games televised of the previous season.

When & where can I access my tickets?

Tickets can be accessed on the official Manchester United App. Tap the “My United” icon in the bottom right corner of your device, which will open your profile page. Scroll down and you will see a button labelled “My Tickets”. Tap the button to view your upcoming tickets. Your QR code will load 3 hours before kick-off. Here’s an explanatory link – https://www.manutd.com/en/videos/detail/where-to-find-your-tickets-in-the-app

Can I cancel my ticket & get a refund?

Yes, to cancel a ticket, use the sell option on the official Manchester United App. Here’s an explanatory link – https://www.manutd.com/en/videos/detail/ticket-resale-in-the-app Refunds (Less a £5 cancellation fee, charged by MU) will be forwarded to the branch, if the ticket is re-sold, then we will transfer you the money.

NEWSLETTER No.1 of 2025/2026

Dear Member

While we hope you enjoy the summer break, the committee will be working hard behind the scenes to ensure everything is ready for the beginning of the new season.

32nd Annual General Meeting.

On Tuesday 3rd June 2025, we held our AGM. Even though there was only just over 10% of the membership present, the meeting was a very productive one, as the members’ motion and the proposed purchases presented by the committee were passed unanimously. The committee would like to express the importance of attending these AGM’s as everything we do is for the interest of the club and its members. Saying this, the committee would like to thank those who took their time and interest in attending.

The Trip Raffle.

The trip raffle worth up to £750 of expenses covered by the club for tickets, flights & hotel for a trip to Old Trafford, took place at the AGM. Those that renewed and became members for the new season up to the day, were eligible for the draw. We would like to congratulate Mr. Julian Navarro on being this year’s winner. Two further names were drawn as backups.

AGM Surprise Shirt Raffle.

On the day, the Committee raffled a 25-26 United Shirt between the attendees, in gratitude for their attendance. Congratulations to Mr. Salvador Duarte for being the winner.

2025/2026 Fixtures.

The fixtures for the new season will be released by the Premier League on Wednesday 18th June at 10am, a week from today and the new season will officially commence around the weekend of Saturday 16th August.

MUSC Ticket Allocation Deadlines 25-26.

We will be hoping to receive this season’s MUSC ticket allocation deadlines, at least a week after the release of the fixtures, which we will be posting at the club and sending by email as soon as we receive them. Please keep in mind that (as per previous seasons), the deadlines for the first couple of home matches could be just a few days after the information is sent to us by MU.

Membership Renewals.

Those of you who have not yet renewed your membership, we would appreciate you do so as soon as possible, as the total number of tickets allocated to our branch will depend on the number of members registered with MU at the time of requesting them. Also, members who renew before the 15th of July will have priority when applying for match tickets over those who join after.

WhatsApp Group.

For those of you who wish to join our WhatsApp group (Manchester United Supporters Gibraltar Branch), contact any committee member for the link. There you will only receive information about the Branch and MUFC if required.

Kind Regards

Local Benefits

Remember that by becoming a member of the Manchester United Supporters Gibraltar Branch, you are entitled to the following benefits –

  • Entry to our annual trip raffle, worth up to £750 to cover expenses (for every five attendances on match days, you get an extra entry for next seasons raffle).
  • Access to Home Match Tickets.
  • Watch matches at our premises.
  • Enjoy our match day food menu, exclusively to official members.
  • Free Children’s Christmas Party.
  • Attend special events organised by the Committee.
  • Occasionally have free food or drinks on match days.

Application Forms

You will soon receive by post your renewal form, together with those of your family, if applicable. If any of your personal information has changed, please amend/update in the column provided. If you need blank forms for new members, click here.

The Importance of Early Renewals

Firstly, entry to our trip raffle, which will take place at our Annual General Meeting beginning of June. Only those members that have renewed before or on the date of the AGM, will be eligible to the draw.

Secondly, ticket allocations, as they are dependent on the number of members we have registered with MUFC as at 1st August. It is therefore in the interest of all members that the Branch has the highest possible number of members registered by that deadline. We will therefore be grateful if you renew your membership before the 15th July in order to achieve the greatest ticket allocation possible.

It is for this reason that members who register before the 15th July, will be given priority for match tickets, over those who renew or become members after.

NEWSLETTER No.12 of 2024/2025

Dear Member

You might be receiving an email from MU regarding membership renewals for next season.

According to the email, this Sunday is the deadline to order a merchandise pack. As we are unaware if they will be made available to purchase further on during the season, we recommend, that those of you interested in the merchandise pack renew your memberships online and select the merchandise pack before Sunday.

It is our understanding, that the membership pack will cost £15.00 plus £8.50 postage and package, apart from the membership renewal cost.

If you are not interested in the membership pack, then, as in the past, we advise you not to auto renew your membership directly with MU and do so via the branch instead.

Next week, the Committee will meet to discuss our membership renewal process for the 25/26 season, which will hopefully be available as from April.

Kind Regards

NEWSLETTER No.9 of 2024/2025

Dear Member

We wish to inform you that the Committee has taken the tough decision to part ways with our current caterer Gourmet Products Manuel Rodriguez Ltd. Although he has been a loyal servant to the club for many years, his requested amendments to his renewed contract (which became outdated at the end of September) would have been practically unsustainable to the club and its members.

In honoring the conditions set out initially in his old contract, we have provided him with a 3 month termination notice, which will end on the 9th February 2025. If his wish is to terminate earlier, it has been agreed, that he would provide us with at least a week’s notice.

It has been a tough call but we strongly believe it to be the correct one for the club and most importantly, you, its members. The Committee has already elected another caterer, who is extremely eager and enthusiastic on taking the club forward and to provide us with the same quality and service, or even better.

The Committee wishes Manuel Rodriguez Trigo all the best in the future and hope he will continue to provide us with the great service he has always provided us with, until the end.

Kind Regards

THE COMMITTEE
